Now you all get to see the contents of my purse: be very afraid.
1. My wallet. It's crammed with receipts, CCs, DL, metro passes, business cards, the like. Old leather. Good stuff.
2. Orbit: Dirty mouth? Clean it up. ^_^
3. Extra: watermelon mint?
4. Complimentary packet of tissues from this smoothie/bar I go to when I want a smoothie/shake/fruit drink.
5. My handy, dandy Purell bottle attached to my purse.
6. XD My purse
7. MY AWESOME PIN that says 'Pro Cash' buahahahaah.
8. My glasses case WITH my shades for when I'm outside with a nice lens cloth for cleaning.
9. My 8 different choices of lip service. Lol - lip GLOSS and/or lipstick. The skittles red one is pretty tasty.
10. Contact solution, nice and small for portability.
11. Lubriderm lotion.
12. A button from one of my suits. I was giving a presentation for some class and we had to be in business attire, and the reason I even bought the darn suit was because I liked the buttons, and the lining. One button is now not on the suit, obviously.
13. Lol = the itty bitty package containing ONE midol.
14. Back to the left, 2nd row: A clip thingie, it's supposed to be used to clip on an air scentie thingie in your car - but the scenty thing wore out, so all that worked was the clip and ...I thought I had thrown it away.
15. A purple piece of candy. Tasty.
16. An Office Depot Receipt*
17. 4 Pennies...I didn't grab all the change out of my purse when a homeless man asked for change.
18. An extra key to unlock my car door.
19. FM radio transmitter for my mp3 player. I keep forgetting to put it back in my car...
20. Contact lenses case. I need to change those contacts again...
21. The white tube above the perfume thingies and one little jar of lip gloss: SKEETER STIK. Got it at WalMart a couple of weeks ago because I'm SO sensitive to bug bites that they swell up within 3 minutes of being bitten.
22. The grey case: it has a perfume bottle in it - something flowery and not totally my thing but, cheap. $7 bucks and it does smell nice...
23. The blue jar/vial: perfume. Candies. Nice.
24. SUNGLASSES! The stupid numbers block my awesome shades.
25. Back to left side: ONE set of keys! These keys are to mom's vehicle [a toyota, with alarm control] and on key ring is ONE very large Harry Potter key chain from a wife of mine[joke] in High School, and one swipe-y thing for Hallmark and Kroger's. And a key that opens...either a safe, or the backyard gate.

27. USB stick. I LOVE MY USB stick, 2 Gig of space to save any and everything on. I've got school stuff, writing, stories, and music.
28. A quiznos coupon, a business card from a Carmax employee, and a card from a potential piano students' parents.
29. Eye glasses repair kit. I had very bad glasses before getting them replaced this summer so I always needed spare screws and then a magnifier to SEE where to put the screws and then to tighten. Tedious.
30. A lens cloth.
31. Another lens cloth.
32. Bandana. I walk 12 blocks through downtown! It's HOT and HUMID here.
33. My awesome mp3 player. 30 Gigs baby.
34. My awesome, perfect-for-metro-commuters-headphones. I should buy another pair.
35. A key ring with one key on it and 2 keychain thingies. One from the army, and another swipey thingie for...Randalls? And also the locks that the key belong to: Masterlock. Good little locks, too.
36. MY set of keys. Keys that start up MY car. My sweet ride, yes. Bought the key chain from this fund-raiser at our high school and kept it in my pocket for a week while waiting to get a pair of keys to the family cars. Has my initial engraved on it. Suck a cute key chain, see it? It's a STEERING WHEEL!
37. A toothpaste tube that needs replacing soon.
38. Travel toothbrush.
39. COMB. My hair is a constant mess. I'm not used to long hair anymore and now that it's grown out, it gets wild sometimes.
40. My writing utensils. I'm a very, very forgetful person so when I say I am going to do something, or need to do something for myself or for someone else, I write it down in my notebook that I always keep with me. [an eraser stick, a black sharpie [handy, those], two pens that have highlighters on the opposite ends [I need to return them, the highlighters are dry], two bank pens I took from our bank last week, and my awesome mechanical pencil.
41. My cell phone. It alternates between my purse, and my jeans pocket.
42. An empty lead container. I think it's for .5 mm lead.
43. Yes, I already had a 'writing utensils' group but...this is my awesome easy-to-keep-in-pocket pen and it's even PURPLE. PURPLE!!! Totally meant to be.
44. Movie ticket stubs. This summer I went to a few movies. The top stub is for my second trip to see Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
45. My 3rd set of keys. Mace, and then a set of keys to front and back door, a key to the office desk, a key to the safe, a key to the office filing cabinet, a key to the shed and also the house alarm control.
46. (in red near top) Visine tear drops with contact lenses.
47. Bottle of Aleve.
Merlin. My purse held the secrets to the world!! :-/
And look at my beautiful bedspread. So pretty and pattern-y. Purple is the royalty over everything!

Date: 2007-09-04 04:41 pm (UTC)I gasped when I put it all out on my bed and I just started laughing. Had to stop the laughing of course because it was 3 AM, but...yeah, I dunno.
As for finding stuff? I usually keep the keys in the side pocket that doesn't have my glasses/shades case. Pens usually go with the keys, then wallet, mp3 player, important miscellany go in middle pocket, and a lot of the other stuff goes in 3rd pocket. Then there are 2 pouches on the front, one zippered, one buckle. Lip stuff goes in zippered with USB drive, and then the little locks with key, nailclippers, contact lenses case, and...lead case go in buckled pouch. It's a miracle the purse hasn't ripped on me. *crosses fingers*
