I don't know what it is, I really don't - but I just skip over them usually. Maybe it's the format, with the times at the beginning of the line, or just...the unnecessary characters before and after the legitimate text...

I have a twitter, but it's mostly to follow certain law aid groups that update with various facts, statistics, and links to help with law school apps and such.

I am not on that band wagon. I don't read them either, with the exception of one friend. I read hers because she just had a baby back in November and she posts her family updates there. She hasn't posted an entry here since the birth.

lol- I just don't like the LJ feed thing. It's...I don't like it. haha, but - I've noticed that most of my commenting has really dropped off for those that only update by twitter... :/

I totally agree with you. I tried to jump on the Twitter wagon and have them post to my lj and all that. But I found it to basically replace writing entries and I just don't want to be this lazy person who can only update in 140 characters! And while my friends who do ship their tweets to their LJs claim that it doesn't make any difference, it does. They stop posting and that just makes me sad.

Plus the format just sucks and you see all the replies they make to other people but you have no idea what they're talking about.

The only reason I posted about this was because of my skimming the flist early this morning and realizing I was purposely skipping over twitter cuts because I just didn't want to bother trying to decipher them. AND I HATE THAT, responding to other tweets from other people - and not know WHAT they're talking about, etc.

And it's SO TRUE, some people ONLY TWEET NOW.
