Made my first trip to the ER!

Apparently my posts will come in a 'pouring' manner, ...when it rains it 'pours'

Went to the ER with my mom this morning. Vertigo and low blood sugar (mom). I found her on the floor. Very scary.

I'm so tired. Dead tired.

Back home now. bye bye

*hugs back* Thanks, I think I'll be scheduling a massage for this coming Saturday. I've never had one, could really use one.

Mom's doing better now. She's back to her normal fast-paced self,...

which is work hard, rest hard. lol I couldn't keep her from doing anything today. *sigh*

Absolutely terrifying. I was shocked. Tripped over myself and everything to try and figure out what to do. Things sped by so quickly I can't believe she survived having *me* help her. Thank you. She's feeling much better.

And those are the perfect words - to seem fragile. I just wanted to cry and ask her what to do; but of course I couldn't, and she still tried...it was just hard seeing her like that.

She got 3 different prescriptions that started helping about 2 hours in once we were at the ER. The guys there were really nice, they even called today to see how she was recuperating. Very nice.

thank you, things are much better now. I'm back at my place now and left her in my dad's hands. I hope she doesn't relapse. It was hard enough seeing her go through it, wouldn't want her to have to experience it again.

As for my mom, yes, terrifying, heart pounding, just plain scary. This is the first time we've ever done an ER visit. For my mom and me at least. Dad's been to the ER because he does dumb stuff. It's a miracle we got there okay, that I didn't end up making mom worse. Scary stuff. Luckily she woke up herself, wouldn't let me follow her around or anything, didn't listen to me at all. LOL that's mom. *shakes head*

Hopefully I'll slip into another LJ coma and not have to post about stuff like this any time soon.
