Cloister

semis lurch
                          blaring echoes
as water squelches under
       tires

bitter odors waft
                                        between glass towers
invisible yet potent

colors yell
                structure
understood

movement
                                        scurrying and rushing
overwhelming noise
          movement
          people

                        Straight edges
                                                                                                     Streaks of blues, blacks and greys
                                               reflections make the towers
                              sparkle and gleam
